Dear Dr. Carroll:
I have been now to haiti 15 times since 2001. I originally came with my pastor from the United Church of Christ in Baltimore, MD. But, i quickly branched out because I saw the dire need for leadership and communication. After providing training for more than 290 Haitians in courses designed by Swiss Consulting Group(see:www.swissconsultinggroup.com) and seeing many people's lives changed for the better, we(see: www.fondetha.org) are ready to bring the course known as Strategy in Action. This course is meant to bring together as many economic, social, age-related, political, clas, cultural, etc. parts of the Haitian community as can be brought together, as possible, to have a peaceful and patient conversation and dialogue to begin to straighten out the mess that is Haiti-right now.
I was wondering if you would risk working with us at the Foundation for the Development and Transformation of Haiti(FONDETHA) and gather all of these people, including the gangs and MINUSTAH, to a negotiation and planning session that will be moderated by Thomas Zweifel of Swiss Consulting Group(SGC,Inc.).
We can begin our dialogue at patricks@fondetha.org. I would appreciate hearing from you quickly, because I bet the dialogue you speak of in your website did not start on Monday morning the 12th of February, 2007.
