Haiti's Displaced Babies

Today we examined several hundred babies in a clinic in Cite Soleil. All were less than 5 years old.

EVERY mother told me that they had been displaced by the earthquake.

Some are living in tents and others are living in "tonels" made out of scrap wood, plastic, and junk, with a tarp for a roof.

The baby pictured above lives with his young mother. She told me that her tent had been started on fire by a "gang". Mother and the baby now live with a lady who took them into her shack in Soleil.
